Multi-Terrain Adventure Race

Sunday 17th June

This summer's Ythan Challenge will take place on Sunday 25th June, starting at 11am from The Meadows sport's centre in Ellon. Entries will open in March and this year they are joining forces with Born2Run, bringing benefits including online entries for the first time. Scalty Hill Race

Sunday 3rd June

Nice little hill race for new folk to try out!!
Start's from the Scalty forest car park, nr Banchory at 2pm. The distance is 4.5 miles and an ascent of 1300ft, entry fee £5.

Glas Tulaichean Hill Race (uphill only).

Saturday 2nd June

Race start's at 2:00pm from the Dulmunzie Hotel, Spittal of Glenshee. It's 7k long with 670m of ascent. Will also be the selection race for the World Vets.

Bealach na Ba

Saturday 12th May

Several Cosmics are heading over to the west coast, Applecross area to participate in the cycling sportive 'Bealach Beag' starting from Sheildaig. This arduous cycle is 43 miles (70k) long, 6,200ft (1900m) of ascent and goes over the highest road climb at 2053ft (626m) in just 6 miles (10k). Deeside Duathlon

Sunday 6th May

The Deeside Duathlon consists of a 34 mile cycle from Braemar to the Bridge at Potarch, then a 10 mile run to Durris Bridge followed by a 13 mile cycle to Leggart Terrace. Other options are available to do it as a team event or canoe the final section instead of cycling. Elaine is available as backup if anybody want's to do the race.

Stuc a' Chroin Hill Race - SHR Championship Race

Saturday 5th May
Stuc a' Chroin is in Strathyre nr Callander, the race is 14 miles, 5000ft of ascent, start's at 1pm and has a £5 entry fee on the day. An email will be sent nearer the time if anybody want's to share transport.
