25th SHR Annual 'do' and Prize Giving
25th SHR Annual 'do' and Prize Giving - Sat 1st November
A reminder to all SHR members that the annual end-of-season SHR 'do' takes place on Sat 1st November this year, at the new venue of Crianlarich Youth Hostel. Details are still to be confirmed, but it is hoped that some late afternoon (inside)entertainment will be provided allowing for folk to get a run, cycle etc etc in the surrounding area beforehand if they wish.
A formal prize giving all categories (male, female and teams) in the 2008 SHR Championship, as well as for the prize winners in the new Long Classic Series, will take place just before (buffet)dinner is served at 7pm. A Ceilidh - with live music and caller - will follow later in the nearby village hall, starting at around 9pm.
Places are still available and members are strongly encouraged to book now to avoid disappointment. It would be great to have as many prize recipients attending as possible. Spouses and/or partners and/or families are very welcome to attend.
Booking details are as follows:
Sat night’s accommodation, Meal and Ceilidh is £40. Extra nights at Crianlarich YH can be booked direct with the YH for £13. Or else the Meal and ceilidh only is £27 for Adults and
£15 for Children.
