Strathpuffer 24 successes and wimps

Just thought we should record that at the recent Strathpuffer 24hr Mountain Bike event, while the two male Cosmic teams wimped out (you know who you are!) whingeing about potentially awful ice, snow, mud conditions, the women - Jenny Boyd and Mona Petrie aka the Deeside Divas - completed the event in style. In the early stages they were lying 20th (out of 42) pairs, but as they say "when the going gets tough the tough get going" - and they moved steadily up through the filed during the long cold night ti finish a magnificent 8th place overall in the pairs and 1st female pair! GIRL POWER!
