BBQ at Hackley Bay
| A dozen hardy souls maintained the proud tradition for Cosmics being complete nutters last night! A few drops were falling when we left the cars. Ashley nobly volunteered to forgo his run and stayed by the big rock to get the barbecues going (thanks also to Elaine for providing the kit) while the rest did a quick meander to Collieston and back to the beach. Where Pauline started the aquatic activities by plunging straight into the waves, followed by Colin (well he had to really), Tom, myself and later Sean - the surf was fun! By the time we'd dried off the BBQs tended by fire maestro Ashley were cooking merrily and a sociable time was had by all. In fact barbecues were still burning well when increasing wind and rain finally forced a retreat along the cliffs (after clearing up). The A90 was under water and the car like a submarine for the drive home! Anita |
